Zam Zam the Most Sacred Water – Part -3

After performing Hajj or Umrah or Tawaaf or Saee and whenever possible Muslime should drink tho Zam Zam water.
Whilst drinking this sacred water stand facing the Ka’aba, drink it in three draughts with the right hand and say
BIS-MIL-LAA HIR-RAH-MAA-NIR RAHEEM
AL-LAA-HUM-MA IN-NEE AS-A-LU-KA IL-MAN-NAA-FI-ANW WA RIZ-QANW WAA-SI-ANW WA SHI FAA-AM-MIN KUL-LI DAAI
         O, Allah, I beseech Thee for the beneficial knowledge, the excessive provisions, and healing against all sufferings and evils When Hazrat ibn Abbas (Radiyallahu Anhuma) drank the Zam Zam water he offered the above prayer to Allah.
        All the Muslime who comes to pilgrim ago at the Will of Allah must drink and purify themselves as long as they stay in Makkah, They should aim at cure, knowledge and acceptable work to be near Allah, and Allah will realize their hopes and wishes because they are His guests in His Haram.

Zam Zam Water is Considered to be Praised

           Zam Zam water is considered to be highly praised and one of the best gifts to be offered. The pilgrims carry some of the water back to their countries so as to present it to their relatives and friends.
             The people back home also eagerly wait for this precious. This is because Hazra Aaisha (Rnoiyallahu Anha) related that she carried some of Zam Zam water and Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) also did that. Allah’s Messenger (Salla Lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to offer water of Zam Zam as a gift to others.
          It is reported that, when Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) was a child and whilst going for Me’raaj and the incident of opening his chest took place, his heart was washed by the two angels with the water of Zam Zam).
           It is reported also, that Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) rubbed the gums of his two grand-children Hazrat Hasan and Hazrat Husain (Radiyallahu Anhuma) with dates and the Zam Zam water.

Zam Zam Water Masail

         Only Nafl bath (ghusl) and ablution (wudu) can be made with Zam Zam water. Fard or wajib bath and wudu are not permitted except when no water is available. It is Makrooh (act though actually not forbidden, yet ought preferably to be avoided) and forbidden to use Zam Zam for Istinjaa. It is also unlawful and disapproved to waste this sacred water. It is permissible to use Zam Zam water for cooking purposes.
Zam Zam has Numerous Benefits
            Thus the water of Zam Zam has numerous benefits. It sanctifies the soul, purifies the mind, heals the patient quenches the thirst and pacifies the hunger. This sacred water for the true believer and with firm faith is like ‘manna and salwa’, a precious gift from Allah.
            It is medicine for the sick and food for the poor. There are records that people have survived for more than a month by drinking only Zam Zam water. It is multipurpose, pure and clean, far from all impurities. It requires absolutely no fil- třation, sterilization or chlorine.
       An Egyptian scientist has reported that Zam Zam water contains magnesium sulfate, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, calcium carbonate, potassium nitrates, hydrogen, and sulfur. Several remarkable cures effected by the use of Zam Zam water alone are on record.
