Benefits of Namaz
Namaaz is one of the most etc lent forms of Ibaadat. There are many verses of the Hoty Quran and the traditions of Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) regarding Namaaz.
It is recorded in a tradition that there is no greater prize for a servant of Allah than that he is granted permission to offer two raka’at Namaaz.
Hazrat Muhammed Bin Seereen (Radiyallahu Anhu) says, “I am given a choice between Paradise and two raka’at Namaaz, I would prefer two raka’at Namaaz over Paradise because those two Raka’ats are for the pleasure of Allah, while Paradise is for my pleasure.
It is said that Allah the Almighty created seven heavens. He covered them with angels and they are worshipping Him constantly not getting careless for even a moment, and Allah the Almighty has fixed a form of worship for it angels of each heaven.
So the angels of one of the heavens are worshipping in a standing position (when we stand for Namaaz it is called Oiyaam) and they would remain in that position till the Final Hour Angels of another heaven are worshipping Allah the Almighty in the bowing position (Ruku).
Angels of another heaven are worshipping Allah the Almighty in prostrating position (Sajda). Angels of some heaven have lowered their arms due to the Glory and Fear of Allah the Almighty. Angels of Illiyeen and the Sacred Throne of Allah the Almighty are standing in a row and are going around the Sacred Throne of Allah the Almighty. They praise Him and seek freedom for the people of the earth.
Namaaz is the collection of the different forms of worshipping of Allah the Almighty by the angels of the various heavens. Allah the Almighty wished to Bestow the share of the worshipping done by angels of the various heavens on the faithful ones, this He wished as He wanted to Bestow honor on the faithful ones.
