“If one visits one’s parents’ graves or the grave of one of them, with the intention of getting virtues, he gets virtues equal to an accepted Haj (Hajj-e-Maqbool). The one who visits one’s parents’ graves or one of all parents’ grave very frequently then when that person will die and is bur- ed, at that time the gels will pay a visit to his grave.” (Tibrani Sharif Ibn Adi) Hazrat Imam Tirmizi (Radiyallahu Anhu) describes a tradition in Naval Deril Usool Allah’s Messenger (Salla- Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) says The one who visits one’s parents’ graves or any one of the parents grave on every Friday then his (the son’s) sins will be forgiven and his name will be written as the one who behaved nicely with his parents.
From this tradition, we learn that parents prove beneficial to their son even after they die. Here is another tradition. Allah’s Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sal-lam) says: One of the finest acts of kindness is for a man to treat his father’s friends in a kindly way after h has departed.” (Muslim Sharif) The biggest sins are de. scribed in a tradition Allah’s Messenger (Salla Allahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) says To associate someone with Allah and harassing one’s parents are the big gest sins among the major sins.” (Bükhah Sharif.
